Giroud Confirmed Absent Four Months

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, stating that Olivier Giroud will be sidelined for three to four months after undergoing surgery to heal her broken tibia.


Earlier, the French striker collapsed when Arsenal face Everton at the weekend. Wenger also confirmed that Giroud finally underwent surgery on Wednesday (27/08) yesterday and will be out for quite a while.

"Giroud undergo surgery today (yesterday) because of a tibia fracture," explained Wenger.

"He will not be able to play three to four months. Means that he will be able to play again in the Premier League at the end of December," he said as quoted by Sport Review.
