Schwarzer oldest debutant in the Champions League

For the first time in his career, Mark Schwarzer appeared in a Champions League match. This makes it look Schwarzer diving oldest player to debut in the Champions League.


Schwarzer so the starter when dealing with Steaua Bucharest Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday (12/12/2013). He fills the position normally occupied by the Blues goalkeeper, Petr Cech.

Schwarzer underwent his first game in the Champions League well. Australian goalkeeper recorded a clean sheet and Chelsea won 1-0.
