Brendan Rodgers
Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, said that if statistics trim a valuable capital for his team, to survive in the top flight Premier League this season.
Early last week the Reds managed to extend their unbeaten run, after a 2-2 draw against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium. The result left them only once recorded less than 17 games.
According to Rodgers, Liverpool are currently the league standings with 10 points from four matches, being in good shape, on a mission to win the competition after failing to win in 24 years.
"The longer you are on top, then there is aggression, the will and desire to remain should be there. Now is only four games, but we've survived four tough games and only lost once in 17 games," said Rodgers.
"I still believe if we would perform better and better as the season goes smoothly, so we were happy to be at the top and ready to fight to survive there."
