Arsenal have officially recruited Mesut Ozil of Real Madrid right on the last day of the summer transfer window, 2013, Arsene Wenger said Ozil was fantastic signings for the Gunners.

Mesut Ozil joined Arsenal in exchange for 42.6 million pounds, or more than 754.5 billion dollars. Ozil tied with a contract duration of five years and be the player with the highest salary at the Emirates Stadium by 140,000 pounds, or about 2.4 billion every week.

"He is a great player who has proved his quality with both club and international level. We've watched and admired him. He has all the attributes to be an Arsenal player," Wenger said as quoted by the Daily Mail.
