West Brom striker Nicolas Anelka, who some time ago was given special leave and was rumored to be retiring, will certainly be back following his team's practice.
Anelka, 34, has been sidelined for a few days following the death of his friend and agent Eric Manasse. A number of sources in the UK said that the former French national team player was ready to hang up his boots in the near future.
However, the West Brom confirmed: "Nicolas Anelka will return the first team training session starting and could play for the match on Sunday (01/9) against Swansea."
