Joan Verdu Anchored in Real Betis

Espanyol playmaker who is also the former Barcelona B penggawa, Joan Verdu, officially joined Real Betis via the free transfer.

Verdu, 30, left the Cornella-El Prat after a four-year contract with Espanyol ends this month. Straight shank hook the former Deportivo player and team U-20 Spain's Benito Villamarin and tie it in with a four-year contract until 2017.

Last season, Verdu scored 9 goals and contributed three assists in 37 games and helped Espanyol La Liga finish in 13.
