Manchester United pick three full points when they travel to Stoke City headquarters. Robin van Persie scored after fasting contributed goals in his last 10 games.

Sir Alex Ferguson's troops managed to steal quite a convincing 2-0 victory over Stoke City. Two goals from Michael Carrick and donated created Robin van Persie from the penalty spot.

"That's an important point. I scored one goal and thankfully it happened, so it was a relief after a few weeks after not scoring goals," said Van Persie told Sky Sport.

"I want to celebrate it with all the players and staff as they are very great since the first day I joined United. Fact, when the going gets tough, they still believe, support, and help me. That's the reason I shared them," he continued.
