Spanish Win UEFA Under 19

Chiajna - Spanish superiority in the European football scene continues. Finally, they won the UEFA European Under-19 after conquering the Czech Republic with the score 3-2 in the final.


In the top of the party at Concordia Stadium, Chiajna, Romania, Tuesday (08/02/2011) pm dawn, the Czech winning first in the 52nd minute goal by Ladislav Krejci. Spain can only be equalized five minutes remaining of normal time by kicking Jon Aurtenetxe.

This is the fifth title Spain at Euro U-19. Previously, they also become champions in 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2007.

This year, Spain had twice triumphed in the tournament between nations of Europe in two different age groups. In U-21 European Championship which was held last June, they also became the best.
