Brazil's infrastructure was also considered below standard for organizing large events like the World Cup. "There is still much work to do," said Valcke told Inside Football World Forum in Moscow. "There are no stadiums, airports, national transportation system and we stayed one month of the preliminary draw."

"Maracana has not been standardized for the World Cup. It must be completed in the last minute, several months before possible or even a few weeks before the tournament starts if they do not speed up the process."

"In Sao Paulo, Brazil's major cities, they will not be able to play the Confederations Cup in 2013 because the stadium is not ready."

Valcke believe South Africa to prepare a more mature compared to Brazil at this time. He also argues Selecao concentrate more to win the tournament than the preparation of a good host.
