Italian capital club, AS Roma, said it would retain Marco Borriello after it agreed to pay a transfer fee to AC Milan for 10 million euros after spending a period of borrowing since last year.

The 29-year-old attacker was off to the Eternal City during one season of the Rossoneri and Roma have the option to permanent at the end of the season at a cost of 10 million euros.

As reported by Sky Sport Italia, Italy's capital city club has agreed to mempermanenkan Boriello status and will soon announce it officially in the near future.

Throughout the defending I Lupi last season, Boriello has collected 11 goals from 34 appearances in Serie A and helped Roma finish in the top six championship competition so as to qualify for the playoff arena Europa League next season.
